Display settings
These change how ShowPoppy™ looks on this device. They save in your browser, apply across the site, and are never sent to us.
Many of the people who use ShowPoppy™ have been selling real estate for decades. Some of them do not enjoy fighting with software. Building for that is the same work as building for accessibility, so we treat them as one job.
What we build toward
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, at level AA. We treat that as the target for new work rather than a box we have already ticked.
What we currently do
- Semantic HTML with a correct heading order and labelled navigation regions.
- Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Text contrast measured rather than estimated, targeting the AA thresholds.
- Large tap targets and body copy that stays at a comfortable reading size on phones.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences, where animation stops rather than merely slowing.
- Status shown by text and shape, not by color alone.
- The display settings above, saved per device.
Where we know we fall short
We have not commissioned an independent audit, and we have not tested with the full range of assistive technologies in real use. Illustrations on the marketing pages are decorative and are hidden from screen readers rather than described, because the surrounding text carries the same information.
Telling us about a barrier
If something on ShowPoppy™ is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us through the support form. Choose Accessibility as the subject.
Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, and what you were using. We will reply, and we would rather hear about a small annoyance than have you work around it.
